MEHRU OZTURK

General Manager of Turkish Entrepreneurship Foundation

After 21 years of experience in civil society, Mehru Ozturk is the General Manager of the Turkish Entrepreneurship Foundation, where she has been involved since its establishment. She is also a founding member of the board of trustees of the Community Volunteers Foundation (www.tog.org.tr), the largest youth NGO in Turkey since 2002. Believing that social technologies will change the world, she co-founded the Things project with Techsoup Europe and a group of friends and is currently on the advisory board of the project. She completed her university education at Marmara University and her master's degree in Marketing Communication and Public Relations at Bahçeşehir University. Between 2009 and 2013, Aygül worked as a Communication and Project Specialist at the European Union Technical Assistance for Civil Society Organizations Project (TACSO) and contributed to the organization of Turkey's first International Conference on Social Entrepreneurship under TACSO. Aygül studied Social Entrepreneurship at INSEAD and was part of the design and execution team of the Social Entrepreneurship Incubation Program with Özyeğin University-JP Morgan and TOG. She is currently working as a jury, mentor, and consultant in various Entrepreneurship Programs to expand and develop entrepreneurship culture in Turkey.
